CREATING A GAME CATALOGUE WAS CENTRAL TO THE EXPERIENCE OF BOTH THE CAFE AND THE MARKETING OF ITS RETAIL ARM. THE DESIGN PROCESS FOR THIS PAGE STARTED BY SETTING CONTEXT USING USER RESEARCH THAT WAS DONE WITH BOARD GAMERS THAT FREQUENTED THE CAFE. THE PRIMARY QUESTION WAS 'WHAT DOES A PLAYER WANT TO KNOW ABOUT A GAME AT THE FIRST GLANCE?' ADDITIONALLY, THE USER IS NOW ABLE TO SEARCH A GAME AND SEE WHICH LOCATION THE GAME IS AVAILABLE AT. ONCE THAT EXPERIENCE WAS DEFINED, IT NEEDED TO BE FRAMED WITHIN THE BROADER DESIGN OF THE REST OF THE SITE.
